Meet Verna: the long-anticipated and first of many articles written by Verna Richards Shinebarger Seidel, 101 years old, and resident of Wolcott, N.Y.

Verna's grandson, Frank Patterson, will be showing her each of these pages as they go on line. It's her wish that her memories and writing will be enjoyed by people who came from or whose relatives lived in or now live in Wolcott. If you'd like to send Verna a message, thank you, or belated 101st birthday greeting, please do and send to Frank at his email address. He'll be printing them off for her so that she can read them. If your family lived in Wolcott in the early days of the 20th century please tell her. It'll mean a lot to her that her work of many years has now reached an appreciative audience.

We will soon post a third supplementary list of "lost stones".
