Manchester Boice were elected Justice of the Peace for the said term, in
consideration of the promises and fundament to the statutes, I Marvin Rich Supervisor
of said town do certify that on the 8th and 9th day of April instant I served
notices in writing upon the Clerk of the town and upon each of the above named Justices
of the Peace to meet me at the Home of George Dony in said town on the 15th day

agreeable to said notice respectively approved and in presence of the Supervisor and town Clerk

A bit about Dottie and Suzanne's Marion family search:
"I have no idea where George Youngs came from before Marion. Of the 12 children born to him, we know the names of 6. From the death records of 3 of the 6, we have the father's name as George; only one has a mother's name - Amanda Aldrige. Later census records of the sons give both parents' birthplaces as "NY". Of the 6 known children, 5 were born in NY, the oldest born in "Canada West". Only my own g-grandpa had a town given for his birthplace - "Marion". That's the sum of our knowledge re: George Youngs. You can see why we were thrilled to find him in the Marion Town Book, because we had begun to question whether my g-grandpa was really born in Marion. The timeframe of the record book is exactly right for his birthdate of 1830."
If you can assist Dottie and Suzanne with their research, or would simply like to thank them for their hard work or tell them you found your ancestors, they'd be thrilled to know they helped:
