of the last will and testament
of Jacob P. Garlock deceased.

Citation & Proof of Service

Filed 8 August 1843

            The People of the State of New York: To Maria Garlock the widow of Jacob P. Garlock late of Marion in the County of Wayne, and Anna Kenyon wife of Friend Kenyon, Solomon Garlock, Jacob Garlock, heirs at law and next of kin to the said deceased, and to Marvin Rich, special guardian of Eliza Garlock, Juliette Garlock, Catharine Garlock, Alfred Garlock, Abraham Garlock and George Duel minors, who are also heirs and next of kin to the said deceased.

            Whereas Richard Garlock and Edgar M. Galloway, two of the Executors named in the last will and testament of Jacob P. Garlock deceased, have this day made application to James C. Smith Surrogate of the said County of Wayne, to have the said will proved before the said Surrogate, and recorded pursuant to an act concerning the proof of will &c. passed May 16, 1837, and whereas the said will relates to both real and personal estate, you and each of you are therefore hereby cited to appear before the said Surrogate at his office in the town of Lyons in said county, on the eighth day of August next at ten o'clock in the forenoon, to attend the proof of the said will.

                                          Given under the hand and seal of office of the
                                          Said Surrogate, at Lyons in said county, the thirty
                                          First day of July in the year of our Lord one
                                         Thousand Eight hundred and forty three.

Wayne County           } ss: Richard Garlock of Marion in said county, being duly sworn, deposes and says that he served the within citation upon Each of the within named persons whose names are subscribed to the within admission of service, towit Marvin Rich special guardian, Jacob Garlock, Eliza Garlock, Solomon Garlock, Catharine Garlock Maria Garlock and Anna Kenyon and saw, them severally sign their names or make their marks, thereto.
