In the matter of the
Guardianship of Jacob
Garlock kin: Guardian
Of
Abraham Garlock, a minor.
An
Inventory and account of the guardianship of the above named guardian
containing a just & true account of all property belonging to said minor
which has come into his hands and an account of all moneys paid out by him on
account of said minor, and a correct statement of the proceedings of said
guardian in relation to his aforesaid guardianship since the time of his
appointment on the 11th day of December 1847 up to this 30th day of December 1848.
Said
guardian represents that Maria Garlock the widow of Jacob P. Garlock deceased,
and mother of the said minor died on or about the 6th of April 1847,
and that a short time previous to her death she gave to the said minor certain
property, a part of which has been sold by said guardian and a part still
remains in his hands. The
following is a statement of the part so sold by him as aforesaid and the amount
received by said guardian for each article respectively. - with which
said guardian charges himself.

The said guardian further represents that at the time Maria Garlock, the mother of said minor, died as
aforesaid, there existed certain debts against her, for the payment of which the property given by her to the
said minor as aforesaid was liable. That he has paid the same and claims to be credited therewith as follows, that to say:

same for any length of time except what might be necessary to meet contingent expenses of his trust of such guardian -

Said guardian further represents that the last will and testament of Jacob P. Garlock
aforesaid, deceased, contains certain legacies, for the payment of which the aforesaid property so given to said
minor was liable and that the same have been paid by said guardian and he claims to be credited therewith as follows, that is to say:

The following is a just inventory of that part of the property given to said minor as aforesaid which has not been sold but remains in the possession of said guardian that is to say:

Wayne County ss: Jacob Garlock being duly sworn says that the
foregoing account and inventory is in all respects just and true. That they contain a true
statement of all the property of the said minor which has come into his hands and a true account of
the dispostion thereof, and a correct statement of all his receipts and expenditures in relation to
his aforesaid guardianship since the time of his appointment on the 11th day of December
1847 up to this 30th day of December 1848.
