THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
The Alumni Association of Macedon Academy was organized in 1884 and owes its origin to the efforts of members of
classes '76 and '78. It at present numbers forty-one members, and is an active and much enjoyed association.
Every year since its formation its members have gathered from far and near on the last Friday in June, to spend
one restful day with their loved Alma Mater. After disposing of the necessary business items, all repair to the
banquet hall to enjoy and do justice to the bountiful and epicurean collation awaiting there, following which is a
much enjoyed feature, the toasts and responses.
In the evening a literary entertainment is given to the public by members of the association which closes
the festivities, and all return to their duties as students in Life's exacting school, happier and better for
this retrospective enjoyment.
Following is a complete list up to date, of the members of the association, together with each year's
officers and the programs for their several entertainments. Owing to the fact that the association was not
formed until the earlier graduates had located in their various vocations far from the scenes of their youth,
the list of members contains less than half of the graduates.
