General remarks: A portion of South Butler lies in Savannah. The portion in the First Election District contains two hundred and sixty six inhabitants.

Remarks on the mortality of the year ending June 1, 1875: Their has not been any epidemic or known cause to very the number of deaths.

Estimated average pay of hired laborers and mechanics, exclusive of board: farm hands hired by the season of year, $1 by the day, $20 by the month; farm hands hired in having harvest $2 by the day; women hired for common household work $2 by the week: usually boarded where employed; carpenters and joiners $2 by the day; masons, stone and bricklayers $2.50 by the day.
